Walmart Expands Footwear Offering With Exclusive Footwear Retail Deals – Footwear News
Walmart has added two new exclusive brands to its roster as the retailer expands its footwear offering.
The Sam & Libby brand owned by Caleres as well as the Madden NYC brands owned by Steve Madden will now be sold exclusively at Walmart. The partnership launched in late March and continues to roll out in stores and on Walmart’s website.
Through the partnership, Walmart will sell Sam & Libby women’s sandals in a price range of $25 to $28 and Madden NYC platform sandals, clogs and sneakers for women and children between $16 and $26. The Madden NYC collection at Walmart will also include women’s apparel and accessories and will eventually expand to include men’s footwear in the fall.

The latest partnership marks a step forward in Walmart’s efforts to expand its footwear offering with exclusive retail partnerships and own brands. Walmart currently operates a slew of private brands with shoe deals, including Time and Tru, Wonder Nation, No Boundaries, and Ozark Trail. The company also owns the clothing brands Scoop and Free Assembly, which are managed under the creative direction of Brandon Maxwell.
In addition to its private shoe brands, Walmart also sells shoe brands such as Bearpaw, Justice, Keds, Kendall & Kylie, Levi’s, Maui & Sons, Reebok, Stride Rite, Wolverine and more, all of which have been added to the retailer over the years. Last year.
Beyond brand selection, Walmart is also investing heavily in the in-store shoe shopping experience, with in-store boutiques dedicated to specific brands like Sam & Libby and Madden NYC. Both brands are available in 900 Walmart stores and on Walmart’s website.
