Traveling in style doesn’t have to be uncomfortable with these recommendations

Spring is here, which means spring break is right around the corner! With the pandemic seeming to be dissipating in terms of many people’s plans, now is a great time to pack your bags and get away from it all.

Whether you’re going on a trip or jumping on a plane to a tropical destination, the right travel wardrobe is extremely important. I know we all want to look our best when we travel, but sometimes that just isn’t the most convenient. So if you want to be the main character while still being cozy and comfy, you’ve come to the right place.

I’ve put together an easy travel wardrobe guide that will keep you chic and comfortable no matter what you’re doing. If you’re in a cramped car that makes you squirm or you’re stuck with a long layover at the airport, I’ve got you covered.

So without further ado, here are five fashion recommendations that prove beauty doesn’t have to be painful.

Tops

Tops are probably one of the pieces that take the least effort when it comes to finding options that are both stylish and comfortable. From crop tops to baggy oversized tees and everything in between, there’s a stylish and comfortable top for every personality.

Some great affordable stores to check out for tops include American Eagle, Old Navy, and Target. Some of my top favorite options include the utility pocket oversized boyfriend denim shirt for $36.99 at Old Navy and the Women’s Fitted V-Neck Gathered Front Long Sleeve Knit T-Shirt for $20 from Target.

And finally, if you’re looking for the softest and most comfortable oversized t-shirt, American Eagle has you covered with their AE Soft and Sexy Oversized V-Neck Teeavailable in a variety of colors for just $12.47 with current sale and $24.95 regular price.

Low

Pants are always tricky when it comes to finding a pair that’s both comfortable and cute. We all know the feeling of giving up the pants we love for their comfort (old worn sweatshirts) to put on “going out pants” which, once buttoned up, make it a little difficult to breathe.

Well, I’m here to tell you that there are some great options out there so you can have the best of both worlds – and I’ll tell you where to find them.

Sweatshirts and leggings are undoubtedly the go-to travel pants, but these styles will elevate that classic travel look without breaking the bank or sacrificing comfort.

A great basic but elevated pant is the beige ribbed trousers of cider for $32. Urban Outfitters also offers cute and trendy pairs of fleece pants at a very affordable price. Currently only $19.99, the Out From Under Edith Fleece Straight Track Pants is also a great travel option if you not only want to stay comfortable, but also want to stay warm when the air conditioner is running.

Combinations

One of my favorite looks for traveling and lounging is a simple and comfortable jumpsuit. Jumpsuits are such a chic, quick and easy outfit. They were practically made for travelling!

There are such a variety of combinations out there, so finding the right one for your style won’t be a challenge. My favorite type of jumpsuit is a solid color that can be paired with lots of different accessories, shoes and outerwear, making it super versatile – which is another plus for travel.

Travel with ease in these combinations: the Bravo Charcoal Gray Sleeveless Culotte Jumpsuit from Lulus for $36.80, the super chic walker suit from Billabong for $32.99 and finally my favorite jumpsuit of all Aerie Everyday Tracksuit for $26.97.

Shoes

Footwear is the most crucial part of the outfit when it comes to travelling: with long layovers, car journeys and walks, a comfortable shoe is necessary for an enjoyable trip. There’s no doubt that comfort is key, but your style shouldn’t suffer! There are tons of fashionable shoes that are also very comfortable and perfect for travelling.

Sneakers are the obvious answer when it comes to shoes to wear on the go, and there are tons of cute options out there. But, for those of you who don’t like sneakers, I’m here to help: I’ve put together a range of comfortable and stylish shoes that aren’t the basic white sneakers you’ll see everyone wearing. at the airport.

Chunky shoes are super trendy right now and sandals are no exception – Steve Madden has created the perfect fashionable chunky sandal, with a perfect cloud feel for those long days of traveling on your feet.

the Steve Madden Tazia women’s camel leather sandals for $44.78 can be found at Tilly and Steve Madden’s website. Honestly, I love these sandals and wear them everyday in spring and summer. I can therefore say that they will put you at ease and give you an elegant look.

Long days with your foot on the gas pedal or taking a nap in the passenger seat will always be uncomfortable, but with these style choices, you can be as comfortable as possible while still looking chic!
